Who conducts university and campuswide surveys?

While organizations across Texas A&M conduct surveys, two primary groups conduct large-scale surveys that may provide your organization with valuable data.

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Evaluation is committed to the use of data to make informed decisions about teaching, learning, program delivery, equity, and overall institutional effectiveness endeavors and to assisting our faculty and staff in the continuous improvement of their programs and processes.

Student Affairs Planning, Assessment and Research provides quality assessment services, resources and assessment training for departments within the Texas A&M Division of Student Affairs and for student organizations.

Survey Advisory Committee

Texas A&M is committed to being efficient and effective with university community surveys, reducing repetition and survey fatigue. In 2024, Texas A&M launched a Survey Advisory Committee and developed a comprehensive approval process for those surveys surveying our faculty, staff and students. This advisory committee developed and now oversees the parameters for reviewing and approving surveys. The members of the Survey Advisory Committee include: Scott Bauer – Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness (HROE); Alicia Dorsey – Academic Affairs; Justin Jeffrey - Student Affairs; Claire Katz - Faculty Affairs; Kala McCain - Marketing and Communications; Joseph Pettibon II – Strategy and Business Services (SABS); Elizabeth Piwonka - Office of Institutional Effectiveness and Evaluation (OIEE); Katy Pleasant - Strategy and Business Services (SABS); Darby Roberts - Student Affairs Planning, Assessment, and Research (SAPAR); and Aliese Seawright – Research.
